Leocé reserves the right to retain information where required by law or where necessary for legitimate business purposes.
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use them, and similar storage in your browser, for the following.
Running the shop. WooCommerce, the system our shop runs on, uses cookies to keep your basket and your account signed in while you browse, and to record how you found our website (for example a search engine or a link), so that an order shows where it came from. These cookies last only for your visit.
Measuring our advertising. We use the Meta pixel, from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It records the pages you view and what you add to your basket or buy, and sets a cookie that lasts 90 days, so that we can see how our advertising on Facebook and Instagram performs. Meta receives this information together with technical details from your browser.
Payments. At checkout, our payment providers, PayPal and Yoco, load their own scripts and may use their own cookies to process your payment securely.
Fonts. The typefaces on our website are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google’s servers for them.
Our own visit statistics. We keep our own statistics on how this website is used, so that we can see which pieces and pages people find useful. We record the pages you open, how long each page is on your screen and how far down you scroll, the links and buttons you click, the website or campaign that brought you, whether you use a phone or a computer, your approximate location (country, province and town) and the name of your internet provider. We do not use cookies for these statistics. Your browser keeps a random code so that a return visit can be recognised; it does not contain your name or any contact details. Your IP address is sent to ipwho.is, an online location service, to work out your approximate location, and is not kept with the record of your visit. These records are kept for 180 days and then deleted. Visits by our own team are not recorded.
Why we may do this. We rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving our shop and our advertising, as section 11 of the Protection of Personal Information Act allows. You may object to this at any time by emailing info@leoce.com.

When you sign up for the Leocé newsletter we keep your email address, your first name if you give it, and a record of when and where you agreed. The emails are sent for us by Resend, Inc., in the United States. We record whether an email is opened and which links are clicked, to make the newsletter better. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
