His journey
George founded Leocé in 2017 on one idea: that couture is not decoration, it is authorship. A dress should be built around a woman, never the other way around.
The bespoke practice began in earnest in 2021, and it is where Leocé lives now. His process is deliberately slow. The first meeting is entirely about listening, until he understands the woman, the occasion, and the version of herself she wants to inhabit.
The Designer
The hand behind every Leocé gown. A couturier who builds garments one conversation at a time, by hand and by eye, from a Cape Town atelier since 2017.

Inside the atelier
Consultations happen in a private suite, away from the floor. Fabrics arrive from Paris and Milan, each one chosen for a single commission.
What he stands on
Not a manifesto on the wall. The way the work is actually made, every time.
Couture is personal
From the first conversation to dressing the client on the day, George is present at every stage. A collaboration, not a service.
Let the work speak
Leocé does not shout. The brand speaks through craft, restraint, and knowing exactly who it is. Never trendy, never loud.
Local roots, global reach
Based in Cape Town, serving the world. The atelier’s location is a distinctive part of the story, and a promise of something rare.
Trust the maker
The ideal client arrives with an open brief. The magic of bespoke lives in the space between her vision and the maker’s craft.
It is exactly what I wanted it to be, and somehow more. The dress understood the moment before I did.
